Week 23: Project Planning ~ Sewing Organization Challenge

Wow! Week 23 already! Only two more weeks to go. It went fast, didn't it?

This Month Theme: Maintenance and Application.

We will focus on those things that will just make our lives a little bit easier such as cleaning our space (this week), being organized with projects, and gearing up for that crazy season of sewing as enter fall and the holiday season.

This week's topic: Project Planning

Having a good plan in place helps the entire process go more smoothly, doesn't it? In this week's video, I talk about the importance of planning. Here is a link to the video:

I also discuss some PDFs that I created for this process. Here they are:

Holiday Sewing Planner:

Homemade Holiday List

Your Homework:

  1. Make a List: Write down everything you have to sew this holiday season, including non-holiday related items like baby gifts, things for your home, and more.

  2. Make a Plan: Once you have a list, come up with a plan to get stuff together that you are going to make. This is also a great time to shop sales. After all, if you know what you need, you can even buy in bulk!

  3. Schedule Sewing Time: Make some time to sew. Put it on your calendar. Schedule it.

  4. Fun Task: Don't forget yourself! Plan a project just for you or for you home. You deserve it!
